So, I finally caught up with my grandmother (even with a burst kneecap, still drives stick perfectly fine!), and first thing she asks me to do is to clean her car (holy geezus!), a VW Voyage, and then I eventually will spend a day with her mechanic (a "lone wolf" so to speak), learning the trade the Brazilian way.
My aunt is also asking me to check her EcoSport's squeaky brakes. It was raining a lot when I arrived in town, and this town is known for scorching summers. I have a busy week ahead of me, oh boy. This is the first summer in 6 years I've been here. I just can't catch a break, despite what I thought when I first got here.
